Well, we're back and after thousands of miles of driving and 4 days hunting we found one beautiful piece of the West Meteorite.
We will be heading back out there soon before the grass gets too tall to hunt and hopefully we'll find more.
In the meantime here's some photos of my first stone from my first meteorite fall expedition.
Some people found 2-5 stones or more and some went days without finding anything. I of course wish we had found more stones but I'm super happy with my tiny 6.7g piece.
Some hunters offered us help freely and without any reservation whatsoever and I thank you very much! Without your help we may not have found our first West Meteorite.
I want to thank everyone who helped us on our first expedition. This list is in no particular order and if I forget someone please fogive me as I am rushin to get things together for another trip out there.
