In the past couple few years while I’ve been studying meteorites, strewnfields, fireballs, and new meteorite falls, I’ve caught a LOT of flak from people. You would be amazed at the nastygrams and rude emails I’ve received over the past 3 years telling me I couldn’t hunt, that I don’t know anything about meteorites, that I talk a good game, and blah blah blah… Even some guy who claimed to have some boycott on me with 37 people on hist little boycott list. This is a special post to all you people out there who doubted me, called me names, ran their mouth about me behind my back, talked all kinds of @$%, and told me I’d never do it. I got two words for you…
Thank You!
You try raising and providing for a family of 5 including a new baby girl, on meteorites alone,! You try building one of the world’s top meteorite websites! Then build two of them! You try hunting for days in the desert with NO FINDS without losing focus. You try shutting down your business that made over a million dollars in sales to pursue meteorites, and then try to provide for your family while doing it! You try listening to people all around you tell you that you’re a poser, that you’ll never do it, that you are nothing, a nobody, that they didn’t believe you’d ever do it.
I may take a while to do things, but I do them! I keep my word and will always remember who my friends are, who was there for me and who helped me along the way. Some people would call this post egotistical, arrogant, assuming, provocative, unwarranted, rude, misplaced, or even genius… But I have to say I think it’s sad. It’s sad that people have to slam each other, it’s sad that people can’t believe in others, it’s sad that people can’t see the good in things, it’s sad that people can’t share information, it’s sad that people can’t cooperate for the science, it’s sad that people feel threatened by me…
Ok that’s not sad, I think it’s flattering, tells me I’m on the right track, and it’s a bit of a ego boost I must admit. That’s a good thing. If you’re reading this and feel threatened, good…
To everyone I say thank you! I couldn’t have done it without ALL of you! Even the jerks…

Any news about the MD landing. Somewhere between Belair, Baltimore airport and the bay ? I guess that kind of info stays a secret till most of them are found? I am heading down there tom. would be happy to share info and eliminate quadrants as I talk to people. I’m going to try to interview at the Airport at 4:30a / on a weekday to see if I can find someones who saw it . Maybe a tarmac worker?

Rock on Brother is all i can say! I think i found my first meteorite last summer on the foot hills near the rockies in my drive way after all the rain we had. It appears to have all the markings of one and am looking forward in getting some help to verify it. I was actually just walking around picking up petrafied wood and stumbled on it. Now i have a new hobby and can’t wait to have more time to spend on it. Only one problem, my woman says i should be doing more honey dues than walking around playing with Rocks. So thanks for all the info you put out there cuz this old biker is gonna be an ole rock hound now. Thanks guys and gals for all the input..Happy Hunting.
