Although I don't have plans for a big search coil, I know a few friends who have them. It's kind of information no one really shares, and I've not built one yet, or I'd share my knowledge. All I "think' I know about big detector coils are that they are pulse induction, with homemade mounts. That's it, all i know about big coils... ;) Ask me about strewnfields, or fireballs, or meteorite hunting by sight, cutting, cleaning and prepping meteorites and I can tell you just about anything you want to know.

If you really want to know about meteorite hunting, read my Meteorite Hunting & Collecting magazine. http://www.mhcmagazine.com/

Hello. I saw a giant search coil on Meteorite Men. Do you supply plans for your giant search coil, or have any info on how to build a like device? I have a DFX by Whites & a Minelab Eureka Gold. Thanks, Wade in Colorado
