Norcal as in Northern California I presume… It depends on many things. First and foremost you must have permission to hunt on any land you don’t own. Make sure you know what land you want to hunt, and that you receive permission from the landowner.

In general meteorites can be found in dry/arid locales. Where in California are you thinking of hunting?
