This is very exciting news for the scientific world and humanity as a whole. The whole idea that there is a very real possibility that life outside of Earth exists is superbly far reaching. No part of the world will be untouched by this discovery and it will change the way we think about the universe. on the other hand, it may turn out to be that it’s not proof of life and the structures found on the meteorite could be found to be natural rock or mineral formations.
The God Creation Thing
The possibility that these meteorites contain remnants of life from another planet is a sobering thought to some, and could be scary and even confusing for people due to their religious belief systems. But “proof of life” on another planet means nothing in the scheme of religious things, and does not exclude a “higher power” or “supreme being” at all as some would believe. It merely proves that we’re not alone in the universe, nothing more nothing less.
A New Age
We are looking at the dawn of a new era. A new stage of human discovery that is so magnificent it boggles the mind and promises to bring with it a deeper understanding. To find evidence of and then to prove that extraterrestrial life exists in a place other than our planet will catapult us into a new age of learning and knowledge of our universe that has never happened since the beginning of human history.
As Carl Sagan once said “The Sky Calls To Us… If we do not destroy ourselves, we will one day, venture to the stars”. The discovery of verifiable proof of life from another world is in itself a remarkable feat, and if it turns out correct, it’s rock solid proof that meteorites hold within them the true secrets of the universe and opens up all new possibilities for further exploration of our solar system and beyond.
